Knowingly as phlegm, an uncomfortable
feeling that everyone already experience it, this condition happened as the mucus clogs
up inside your throat. At normal condition the glands on the throat will be producing almost 2 liters mucus every single day.
Actually, mucus are needed in your body, it is very important to maintain human breathing system, it will moisten and cleanse the nasal passage, mucus can trap any foreign particle with the sticky properties so it will never reach
respiratory system, fight infection and humidifies the air.

The Causes of Throat Mucus?
Mucus are very usefull to human body, but sometimes when mucus production
can be very excessive it can be really disturbing activity, excessive as a
result of a post nasal drip, cold, or allergic reaction, also several viral
infections can cause throat mucus also like chicken pox, measles, mononucleosis
etc.
Post Nasal Drip:
It happened when excessive mucus amount has accumulated in the nose
and throat which create phlegm and cause coughing. It seems phlegm was
build up in the throat while we sleep, that’s why it we feel congestion in the
morning.
Cold or Flu:
When you get cold or flu, your glands
will produce thin and almost clear mucus inside the nose and right on the back
of your throat, the color of the mucus will turning into yellow or green and
thicken as a sign that your body has activated the self-defense (immune) and
this are sign of the cold or flu viruses.
Pregnancy:
Pregnancy
women usually will experience the symptoms of nasal congestion, sneezing and coughing
during because it came side by side with morning sickness pregnancy. According
some research, estrogen knowingly as the cause factor the mucus get thicken or
thinner.
Seasonal Allergies:
There’s many people who suffer from
seasonal allergies almost every year, the symptoms are showing at once like sneeze,
cough, itchy eye and throat mucus. Many allergens which can cause seasonal allergies
from each seasons from winter to summer, it can be a tree and flower pollen, a
bugs, a dust and many others, the allergies will last until the allergens are
gone.
