Hemorrhoids
are swollen blood vessels called hemorrhoidal veins of the rectum located in edge
of the rectum and the anus. Sometimes when those veins swell the vein walls are
becoming stretched, thinner, and get irritated by passing bowel movements.
Hemorrhoids generally are classified into two general categories: internal and
external.

- Painless bleeding during bowel movements, people usually notices it when there’s a blood stain in the toilet tissue or in toilet bowl.

- A lump near your anus, which may be sensitive or painful
- Leakage of feces
Internal
hemorrhoids located inside the rectum so at beginning internal hemorrhoids
symptoms can't be seeing or even feel because there are not many pain-sensing
nerves in the rectum. The only sign shows that there’s something wrong with
your hemorrhoids can only through bleeding. Sometimes internal hemorrhoids enlarge
and can be protrude outside the anal sphincter. If already reaching this stage,
you may be able to see or feel them as moist and pink like pads at your skin
that are pinker than the surrounding skin area. In this stage hemorrhoids can
feel really hurt because the anuses itself have many pain-sensing nerves. They
usually can get back into the rectum on their own; if they don't, they can be
gently being pushed inside anus.
External
hemorrhoids located within the anus and usually painful; there can be blood
clots which form within prolapsed external hemorrhoids; it can cause an
extremely painful condition called a thrombosis. If an external hemorrhoid gets
thrombosed, it can turn into purple or blue, and could possibly bleed and looks
frightening. Thrombosed hemorrhoids are painfull but usually not a serious. Your
body can heal by itself in a few weeks, but if you can stand against the pain
you can contact your healthcare to remove it to stops the pain.

- Aloe Vera
Aloe
Vera has anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduced hemorrhoid
irritation. Gel extract from Aloe Vera leaf can be used as internal hemorrhoid
treatment with just apply it on the affected area can relief your symptoms.
- Pain reliever
Pain
relievers can be used to relieve the pain like aspirin, ibuprofen,
acetaminophen or naproxen can also help you minimize the swelling with
hemorrhoids.
- Compress
Cold
compress can be applied for 10 minutes at anal area to help reduce the
swelling. You can also compress it with a warm compress for another 10-20
minutes.
- Sit bath.
A
sit bath can help promote blood circulation which may help hemorrhoids. Fill a
pan with just enough water to cover the anal area and to sit, soak the anal
area for about 15 minutes. Do not used over heated water just warm water. Run
this several times a day.
- Drinking Water
Drinking
plenty of water will help your digestive function normally. It is highly
recommended to drink at least a liter or 8 small glass of non-caffeine water.
Eating fruits and vegetables can also useful to keep stay hydrated as
necessary.
- Increase dietary fiber.
Fiber will help the food through the digestive system. The
consumption of foods such as whole grains, legumes, fruits and vegetables can
increase your fiber intake.
Avoid
certain foods and drinks. Especially Food and drinks with high caffeine and
alcohol, If caffeine is in the system, it can lead to burdening the gut, making
the risk of hemorrhoids. Alcohol can make draining the digestive system, so it
will difficult to digest food.
